Key Responsibilities and Qualifications for the Head Chef at Tilly's:

  • Proven Expertise: Demonstrated excellence with in a head chef role or similar, with a portfolio that includes developing innovative menus and executing high-quality dishes that cater to a variety of tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Creative Menu Development: Use your creativity to regularly update and enhance the menu, incorporating fresh, local ingredients to create unique dishes that set Tilly's apart as a culinary leader in Wagga.
  • Financial and Resource Management: Proficiency in managing food costs, labour, and kitchen operations efficiently, ensuring profitability without compromising on quality or creativity.
  • Food Safety and Compliance: Adherence to the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, including risk mitigation and compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Industry Insight and Trend Awareness: A passion for the culinary arts, with a finger on the pulse of current food trends, enabling Tilly's to stay ahead of the curve and continually attract and delight customers.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and developing the kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Exceptional Service and Standards: Commitment to upholding Tilly's reputation for exceptional service, ensuring every dish that leaves the kitchen contributes to a memorable dining experience.
