About the role
Mount Carmel College is seeking a skilled and professional Receptionist & Administration Officer to join their team in Rosewater, SA. This part-time position is 37.5 hours per week for 41 weeks per year. The successful applicant will play a vital role in supporting the College's day-to-day operations. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and handling a range of administrative tasks.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming visitors, students, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, and transferring calls as appropriate
- Maintaining and organising the reception area, including managing deliveries and mail
- Providing administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records
- Assisting with various projects and tasks as required
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a customer service or reception role, preferably in an educational or administrative environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other office equipment
- A friendly, professional, and reliable demeanor
