About the role

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our friendly team at Campbelltown Dental Health Clinic, SA. This is a part-time role with approx. 15-30 hours per week over 2-4 days within our opening hours of 9am-5pm.

Desirable Candidate

• 12+ months of experience working chair-side assisting. However, if you have the right attitude to learn this is not essential and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
• Well-developed communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Preferably able to communicate verbally in Chinese and/or Vietnamese.

What you'll be doing

• Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service at the front desk.
• Assisting the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and ensuring the dental surgery is clean and organised.
• Maintaining detailed patient records and scheduling appointments.
• Processing payments and managing the financial aspects of the practice.
• Sterilising instruments and maintaining high standards of infection control.
• Carrying out general administrative duties as required.
