Are you passionate about delivering evidence-informed, child-centred family support? At Meli, we are committed to strengthening and connecting families through early intervention and integrated services. We’re looking for a Practice Leader (Connecting & Strengthening Families) to play a key role in shaping best-practice service delivery and building the capability of our family support teams across the Barwon Southwest region.

About the Role

As the Practice Leader (Connecting & Strengthening Families), you will:

  • Support and develop practitioners through coaching, reflective practice, and secondary consultations.
  • Lead the implementation of evidence-based parenting programs, trauma-informed interventions, and early intervention strategies.
  • Ensure high-quality, child-centred and family-focused service delivery aligned with the Victorian Strategic Framework for Family Services.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to enhance collaboration and service integration.
  • Use data-driven insights to support continuous practice improvement and program development.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in child and family services, particularly in case practice, risk assessment, and family violence frameworks.
  • Strong ability to support, coach, and develop teams in a complex service environment.
  • Experience in leading reflective practice, program implementation, and practice improvement.
  • A deep understanding of child safety, trauma-informed care, and integrated family support services.
