EMBARK NOW on a deeply rewarding journey as a Support Worker in our Central Coast Lifestyles Program and experience the satisfaction by supporting your clients to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and thrive in a supportive environment.
Primarily, these positions include community-based one-on-one support where you'll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and encourage independence by taking them out into the community.
These positions are designed to service clients across the Greater Newcastle & Hunter region, between the Wallsend, Stockton & Lake Macquarie areas!
*Note: whilst you will have a primary location during your onboarding (Croudace Bay), these roles will require travel to any and/or all above-listed locations.
Starting as a casual position, CPA encourages progression and there is a pathway to permanent part-time work in the future.
Your duties will include:
- Delivering personalised support by assisting clients with personal care, administrating medication, manual handling.
- Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent.
- Supporting clients to engage and participate in the community.
- Building positive relationships with our clients.
- Transporting clients in your own car.
Requirements:
- Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key!
- Someone who embodies CPA values, is client-focused in their approach to care, and driven by the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
- Availability a minimum of 2 weekdays, and Saturdays.
- Available to work shits between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
- A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).
- Comfortable travelling to all locations listed above
