Our client is a specialist steel fabrication company who have been operating for over 50 years. This organisation has the capacity to complete a wide variety of fabricated steel projects for the Mining, Process, Oil and Gas industries. They can manage, implement, and integrate all aspects of complex industry projects from drafting, fabrication through to surface treatment and delivery.

They currently have a position available for a Project Co-Ordinator to join the team. I am ideally looking for an individual that has previous experience in a similar role within the steel fabrication industry. Whether you're a seasoned Project Co-Ordinator or a Tradesperson ready to transition from hands-on work, the company is excited to shape this role around your unique skills.

Specific Duties:

• Developing Excel spreadsheet quotations by interpreting fabrication drawings against the scope of work.
• Sending out RFQ's to suppliers & ensuring accuracy of items in the quotation.
• Participating in weekly production meetings.
• Co-ordinate with the Project & Workshop Managers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Coordinating transportation for all finalized items.
• Responsible for preparation of MDR and other quality related documents.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Highly organised and efficient.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role with the steel fabrication industry.
• Candidates with a Metal Fabrication Trade qualification will be favourably considered.
• Full Australian work rights are required for this position.
