saveBOARD is focused on building a circular economy by turning composite packaging waste back into products that re-enter the local supply chain eliminating future waste.

We are already making healthy, affordable, high performance building materials from our Warragamba, Western Sydney factory.

saveBOARD upcycles packaging waste (food & beverage cartons + soft plastics) in Australasia through the implementation of proven, scalable technologies that turn locally collected waste into locally distributed, recyclable building products. We now have two plants, one in Warragamba (this position) and another in Hamilton, New Zealand.

We are looking for an experienced Building Materials Sales Account Manager who will help grow our business, foster existing relationships with key clients and distributors and develop new relationships to ensure the long-term sustainable growth.

Responsibility:

The Product Sales Account Manager will focus on fostering existing relationships and developing new Sales opportunities in the Greater Sydney area. Weekly travel around Sydney and the greater NSW region will be required. The position is based in our Warragamba factory, which is about 20mins south of Penrith.

Primary Objective:

To achieve budgeted sales, revenue, margin, and profitability of the business by growing our Sales pipeline of our saveBOARD products in the Building Industry.

Specific Duties:

  • Grow revenue and increase the profitability of saveBOARD through our distribution channels.
  • Promote saveBOARD and our products to the Building Industry and related partners.
  • Maintain, and develop relationships with relevant industry influencers, associations, key client partners, end users and installers.
  • Grow sales volumes and increase our profitability with our direct clients.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for saveBOARD to innovate and grow in the building segment
  • Deliver key saveBOARD initiatives and objectives set out by the CEO and leadership team.
  • Provide technical information to installers, specifiers and clients who need to understand how saveBOARD can be used.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Sales experience in the Building Industry, selling building products or services.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior sales role
  • Proven negotiation and influencing ability within a sales role
  • A proven ability to secure new business by further developing existing relationships and seeking out new business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to contribute to and develop sound sales strategies

Shortlisted applicants will be required to:

  • Already living and working in Australia. Overseas candidates will not be considered.
  • Location of Employment is Warragamba, NSW. Candidates need to be prepared to work in Warragamba for their role, unless visiting clients.
  • Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment
