We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and/or experienced people to fill the position of Maintenance Team Member. For suitably skilled candidates there may be opportunity for After Hours, Emergency Call Out work which includes a company vehicle. Higher remuneration rates will apply.

As a member of Complete Edge, Maintenance Team Member's are responsible for working within a multi-skilled team tasked with undertaking and effectively delivering a huge range of activities associated with building and landscape maintenance and construction. No 2 days are the same.

The position requires a laterally thinking, ‘hands-on’ person whose particular skills, knowledge and experience demonstrate the ability to:

• Carry out a range handyman and building maintenance and repair duties,
• Develop and maintain a positive team-oriented work environment,
• Excellent communication and customer service skills,
• Work within a small team and autonomously,
• Work under pressure,
• Prioritize work requests,
• Keep accurate records,

Essential Criteria

• Drivers License
• Demonstrated carpentry and/or handyman skills and experience. Particularly door maintenance and renewal, gyprock patching and installation, installation of cement sheeting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• White card
• Working with Children Check
• Eligible for SAPOL contractor clearance
• National Police Clearance
• Demonstrated experience working within a team environment.
• Vaccinated against Covid19 (to meet client requirements)

Desirable attributes

• Relevant Trade qualification
• Experience in gyprock repairs
• Carpentry experience
• Building Renovation experience
• Supervisor License
• Forklift License
• Landscape maintenance experience and/or qualifications
