About the role

As a Maintenance Handyman/Carpenter at Hornet Property Services Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance and repair services to residential and commercial properties across the Bayside Suburbs. This is a full-time role, where you will be an integral part of our dedicated team, working to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality workmanship.

What you'll be doing

• Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, plastering, painting, and general handyman services
• Respond promptly to service requests and diagnose issues, recommending the appropriate solutions
• Carry out routine property inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential problems
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring the satisfaction of our clients
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of maintenance services

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a maintenance handyman or carpenter, with a diverse skillset
• Strong practical and technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
• Good working knowledge of building materials, tools, and equipment
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
• Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• A current driver's licence
