Our trade professional consists of General Maintenance, Carpenters, Plumbers and Electricians. We are committed to ensure that the work needed to be done for any business is of the highest of quality and service.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced General Maintenance / Carpenter worker as part of our road crew throughout Victoria, however some interstate travel may be required.

This role is Fixed Term Full Time for 12 months.

As a General Maintenance/Carpenter your role will report to the Leading Hand and your duties will include:

• Provide timely, effective and professional customer service in accordance with the Company standards to customers
• Respond to and action jobs provided to you by the Leading Hand
• Keep client informed of the service progress to ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained
• General carpentry and joinery duties such as measure, cut, or shape materials
• Construct and repair building frameworks and structures, including plaster repairs
• Deliver of first and second fixes, skirting and architraves
• Install structures and fixtures, such as door & window repairs/replacement
• Minor tiling replacement/repairs
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Carry out general maintenance checks and repairs as requested by clients quotes
• General Maintenance repairs

Skills & Experience

• Able to successfully pass a National Police Records Check
• Relevant Trade Qualification in Carpentry and/or hands-on experience
• Current valid OHS Industry Induction Card
• Great hand dexterity and an eye for detail
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Effective Time Management skills
• Great presentation and communication skills
• Highly motivated with a strong customer focus
• High Standards of Workmanship
• Able to work in a team or solo environment
• Current and valid Driver's Licence
• Scissor Lift and Boom Lift licence is preferable
• Able to pass an ASIC check for Australian Airports
