About the Role:

As Workshop & Operations Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage workshop & field service teams to drive efficiency and performance
- Oversee maintenance, servicing, and repairs to keep fleet downtime under 5%
- Implement workplace health & safety best practices and ensure compliance
- Coordinate parts, consumables, and GPS component setups
- Monitor and improve workshop processes, workflow, and team productivity
- Conduct performance reviews, training, and mentorship to build a strong, capable team
- Ensure accurate reporting and communication with senior management

About You:

• Proven experience leading & managing a team
• Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter/Mechanic
• Strong problem-solving & decision-making skills
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage workflow efficiently
• Excellent time management & organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair machinery
• Valid driver’s license (HC advantageous)

Following Skills Are Advantageous:

• Experience in hydraulics and electrical circuits
• Prior experience in the Heavy Plant Machinery Industry
• Automotive Air Conditioning license
• Auto Electrical experience and diagnostic skills
• GPS knowledge and installation experience
