- SCHADS Level 6.1, $108,515.60 (plus super and salary packaging)
Role Purpose
The Community Hub Coordinator is responsible for leading a team and overseeing the effective day-to-day operations of the community hub. The coordinator ensures the delivery and management of the place-based no interest loan scheme (NILs) and enhances service offerings to benefit the local community. A key aspect of the role is to assess the existing local services and programs to identify gaps and develop collaboration strategies to address them effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of professional staff effectively, promoting open communication, teamwork, and delegation.
- Coordinate the delivery of specialist integrated services, including programs such as; Financial Wellbeing, No Interest Loans (NILs), Financial Resilience Services, Family Violence and Family Services programs.
- Ensure services are client-centred and trauma-informed, fostering a responsive and supportive environment for clients.
- Establish referral pathways and collaboration opportunities with other service providers within the community.
- Manage the administration and delivery of the NILs program to clients in accordance with contractual requirements and service standards.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Work, Psychology or other related field is highly advantageous
- Demonstrated at least 3 years sector experience in a community service setting in delivering support programs and services to vulnerable people.
- Demonstrated experiencing leading and building high-performing teams.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
