Warehouse Site Manager
We are seeking a professional Warehouse Manager who prides themselves on a customer-centric focus, someone that is nimble, agile, and able to adapt to our clients' needs. The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Site Manager who is committed to a safety-first approach and identifies with our core values. This key leadership role has a strong focus on safety compliance within all aspects of the operation. This role is an immediate start.
Location: Lytton
Salary: Competitive Salary based on experience (100k+)

Site Manager Responsibilities:

  • Financial P&L accountability - Forecasting / Budgeting and Profit Centre
  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of operations and service levels within the site.
  • Focusing on developing and achieving business efficiencies through safety, service, cost, people, and growth.
  • Establishing and growing great relationships with customers to deliver service expectations.
  • Leading, motivating, and developing your team and their capabilities to deliver continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Implementing practices that maximize a profitable operation and minimize cost wherever possible.
  • Monitoring appropriate KPIs to maintain optimal performance.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve ways of work with a focus on a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Establishing a strong safety culture with the team and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role you'll have:

  • Experience in a similar role working within a 3PL environment, with exposure in retail/FMCG.
  • Experienced people manager with clear communication skills and the ability to effectively build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve problems and communicate ideas in a structured and engaging way.
  • Ability to influence and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand financials and drive improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability in owning and managing a P&L with the ability to deliver on/exceed budget.
  • Proven ability in managing and planning labor in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of WMS (Red Prairie/JDA Dispatcher preferred) and Microsoft Office package.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly using Excel and Power BI.

  • Leadership: Lead, motivate, and empower employees through effective communication, excellent leadership, and regular performance feedback.
  • Customer Focus: Establish a customer-centric culture by implementing initiatives that enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Relationship Building: Guide Team Leaders and Operational Staff to achieve overall objectives and ensure customer success.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by conducting daily inspections and implementing preventive measures.

About you:

  • Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment, preferably with previous 3PL experience is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining customer relationships via phone, email, and in person.
  • Strong planning, organizational skills, and confidence in data interpretation for reporting is essential.
