The Role

An opportunity has become available for several Psychologists (Continuing Care Team) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Deliver clinical services within an integrated Mental Health service environment with a multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to the clinical education of students and other less experienced staff
• Coordinate the treatment planning, interventions, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic programs and support services
• Establish and maintain partnerships with consumers and their family and carers in cooperation with other care providers

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• A tertiary degree in Psychology
• AHPRA Registration
• Driver Licence
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Permanent Full time, Temporary full time and temporary part time (one permanent full time position, one temporary full time position and one temporary part time position, 45.6hrs p.f, up to 6 months)
• Base salary ranging from $79 051 - $116 189 per annum, $3 030.00 - $4 453.50 per fortnight, $39.89 - $58.59 per hour
