About the role

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates and quotations for builders and homeowners. You will work closely with our Sales team, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure all estimations align with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret architectural drawings, energy reports, acoustic reports, window loading, and bushfire ratings to prepare accurate estimates.
• Provide quotations and project estimates to builders, homeowners, and commercial clients.
• Identify and follow up on business leads, including cold calls to builders, past clients, and prospects from social media.
• Consult with clients to understand their project requirements via telephone, email, and in our showroom.
• Offer recommendations and revise quotes based on client needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Assist with showroom and telephone inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to prepare costing and estimation proposals.
• Support the Estimation Manager and other team members with ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Ensure all sales and production estimating requirements are completed efficiently.
• Identify and resolve ordering discrepancies, making amendments as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with V6 Software is essential.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and energy reports.
• Prior experience in the glass/glazing industry or a related trade is preferred.
• Proven background in estimation and sales is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and follow instructions from senior management.
• Punctual, detail-oriented, and proactive.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

• Overtime pay

• Australia (Preferred)
