ABOUT THE ROLE

We are in search of a junior estimator, on either a part time or full-time basis.

You will be required to:

• Read and interpret residential construction plans to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements
• Perform accurate estimating take-offs to produce a Bill of Quantities for material & labour
• Support managers and supervisors by providing quantities as required, both during project estimation and to meet needs during the course of construction
• Establish and enter relevant data into the project management platform
• Keep thorough records of all project-related estimates, including information sources and calculations

ABOUT YOU

You must have experience in estimating in the residential building industry, or a relevant qualification.

Along with the above, we require a candidate who can demonstrate the below abilities:

• Ability to work autonomously
• Has a good understanding of construction plans and details.
• Understanding of current industry standards
• High attention to detail
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong computer literacy
• Well organised
• Willingness to learn
• Competency with PlanSwift, Buildxact and/or Evolve is highly regarded
