• Looking to grow in the next 12 months, opportunity here to contribute to building out the department and progress into managing a team of quantity surveyors

The Role:

• Work closely with the lead estimator
• Communicate with clients around supply pricing, labour allowances and combined rates
• Conduct initial analysis of drawings and specifications to ensure required documentation is present and determine scope of work
• Research, source, negotiate and obtain the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Critically analyze bid documents and understand risk and opportunities and articulate those to clients through review processes
• Keeping up to date with the latest regulatory and legislative requirements
• Working closely with key members of the the m2 team and liaising with clients and suppliers
• Ensure timely completion of tenders
• Work toward managing your own clients and team of quantity surveyors
