Looking for a Trades Assistant to carry out a range of works including servicing and repairs, pre-deliveries, assisting with major repairs and major inspections on EWP equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, truck mounted booms etc for a growing contracting company. Any mechanical experience encouraged to apply, training will be provided

About the Role

You will be an integral part of our local team with your main functions being servicing and maintaining the assets of the branch. Your key accountabilities in this role will be –

• Carry out mechanical inspections in accordance with manufacturers & OHS requirements
• Monitor and record parts usage
• Report any damages of equipment to the Supervisor immediately

• Ability to work unsupervised

Desired Skills & Experience

Ideally you will have the following -

• Can do attitude
• Experience in mechanical, hydraulics, fitter and/or auto electrical, but not essential
• Forklift and/or EWP licences not essential (highly desirable)
• Good customer service and communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Hire industry experience (highly regarded)
