About the Role:
To guide students through their education and career journey by providing excellence in customer service
and to act as an ambassador of Melbourne Polytechnic brand and products.
Duties:
- Provide technical support to students in the use of technology to complete their enrolment.
- Provide assigned enrolment support and advice to ensure a seamless and high-quality student
experience by guiding prospective students through all the stages from enquiry to enrolment.
Specifically: Enquiry and Application, Pre-training review (including Language, Literacy &
Numeracy), Training Plan, eligibility, and fees/payment, and cash-up duties in line with approved
procedures. - Professionally communicate via inbound and outbound telephone calls, virtual interview sessions
and in-person interviews, presentations, emails and webchat and ensure professional, timely and
accurate turnaround of all student correspondence relating to inquiries.

Skills and Experience Required:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or a minimum of a Year 12 or equivalent qualification with at least 2
years' work experience, preferably in a customer service environment. - Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate
effectively with a varied student cohort with an ability to be flexible in responding to and having an
understanding and empathy for the needs of students at all levels and across all cultures. - Ability to work under supervision and mentoring of an Enrolment Centre Advisor/Coordinator and
within a team to meet enrolment requirements and deadlines. - Demonstrated ability, commitment and enthusiasm for the provision of high-level customer service
experience together with a strong outcome driven focus. - Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues to work co- operatively
and collaboratively, committed to achieving work team goals and maintaining a supportive work
environment.
