About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist permanent part-time for three days a week (6 day fortnight) to join our practice, Dr Anthony Crombie Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, located in Chermside. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our patients and Dr Crombie.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Managing patient appointment bookings and scheduling
• Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services
• Maintaining accurate patient records and files
• Assisting with general office administration tasks
• Ensuring a clean and organised reception area

What we're looking for

• Experience with softwere programe Genie preferred but not essential
• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, clinicians and colleagues
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in using medical practice management software and Microsoft Office applications
• A friendly, professional and empathetic demeanour
• Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare industry regulations
