About the Company:

We are working with a fast-growing construction business who are looking for a Payroll Officer to join their close-knit team.

About the Role

Utilising your payroll knowledge, within various sectors, this role will enable you to carry out the following:

• Process, new starters, terminations and variation with required timeframes.
• The preparation and processing of selected adjustment pay-runs including calculations.
• Preparation and processing of fortnightly pays in accordance with awards, agreements, company policies and legislation.
• Provide a high level of customer service and support to our employees with any payroll queries.
• Process Work Cover payments and seek reimbursements from insurers.
• Assist other payroll team members as required.

Skills and Experience

• 1+ years' experience in a similar role
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines
• Experience in working with construction awards is highly desirable
• Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
