Robert Half is currently recruiting an experienced Payroll officer for a highly regarded and well respected not for profit company based in the Northern suburbs. This role will be temporary for 3 months with the potential for more long-term opportunity.Proven complex payroll experience with the ability to work with complex payroll systems, award rates and salary packaging will be an advantage for the successful candidate.

This is a fulltime on-site role offering flexible hours/days.

The Role

Reporting to the payroll manager, your duties will include:

• High Volume Payroll processing on a bi-weekly and monthly basis
• Adhering to a large amount of award and EBA rates
• Accurate entering of new staff data
• Processing of Salary packaging / entitlements
• Ensure wages and Tax payments are compliant with regulation
• Mentoring and overseeing of the payroll team
• Ad-hoc duties as requested

Your Profile

To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

• Confident in high volume payroll
• Previous EBA/SCHADS experience
• Excellent Attention to detail
• Payroll/HRIS systems experience
• Excellent Organisational Skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a team

The successful candidate will be immediately available, driven, focused, and dedicated to the company goals while maintaining a high calibre workflow.

This role will be predominantly on-site with some flexibility given over time.
