We are seeking an experienced (3+ PAE) Commercial Lawyer to join our team and contribute to our firm's continued success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial law, with expertise in areas such as M&A transactions, capital raising, leasing, lending, general commercial contract review and drafting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of cases alongside the firm’s Managing Director and collaborating closely with clients to achieve their business objectives

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, corporate restructuring, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance in advising clients on complex legal issues.
• Represent clients in commercial disputes and litigation proceedings
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective legal strategies and solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• Stay informed of developments in commercial law and industry trends to provide proactive and strategic advice to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognised institution; admission to practice law in Australia is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience practicing commercial law, with a focus on transactional work and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of Australian corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
• Must have a sense of humour
