The Position

In the role of Department Head, your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage a portfolio of 170 properties and oversee a small team
• Develop strong relationships with clientele
• Conduct team meetings and report regularly to the Directors
• Manage escalated complaints and disputes
• Manage, train and motivate staff to drive results and exceed set KPI's
• Ensure best practice and compliance

The Person

The ideal candidate for the role of Department Head will have:

• An extensive background in property management (at least a number of years as a Senior Property Manager) with good tenure in previous roles
• Current Real Estate Licence and a thorough knowledge of legislation
• A calm and confident leader who can manage and motivate a small team
• First class communication and relationship-building skills
• Ideally some experience implementing KPI's and managing staff performance
• A love of systems, structure and processes
• Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills
