Exciting, unique and new opportunity for a Program Support Coordinator to support our residents in our longer term housing programs located in Campbelltown. This is a permanent full time role.

Bring your trauma informed , and person-centered program coordination to supporting individuals who are experiencing, or at risk of homelessness in a unique housing program with a focus on employment and capacity building. Key duties

• Empower people who are experiencing homelessness
• Ensure residents comply with their rental obligations under their occupancy agreement with Dignity
• Identify and engage support service referrals to enhance resident outcomes
• Coordinate and liaise with program partners including case management services, employment path-way agencies, real estate agents and property services
• Support residents to engage in employment by supporting in resume writing, interview coaching, job search strategies, and most importantly, confidence-building.
• Provide guidance to residents to support their transition to independent living in the private rental market to ensure tenancy sustainment and to break the cycle of homelessness
• Provide guidance to residents in their transition to the private rental market through the coordination of group educational sessions or one on one training.
• Identify and coordinate educational sessions to assist residents in the areas of budgeting, property care and tenancy sustainment.
• Oversee maintenance and cleaning requirements to ensure our accommodation sites are well presented at all times.

What you'll need

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in similar role
• Strong knowledge of the Housing and Homelessness sector
• Current employment Working with Children Check
• DV Aware Certification or willingness to obtain
• Sound computer literacy
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Time management, problem-solving skills, and initiative
• Personal maturity, common sense, and self-awareness
• Proven capacity to manage professional boundaries
• An eye for detail and ability to clean to Dignity standards
• Able to listen respectfully to our residents
• The capacity to work with dignity at all times
• Current Drivers Licence and own vehicle

Position: Permanent Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 38 hours per week
