Exciting, unique and new opportunity for a Program Support Coordinator to support our residents to achieve their housing and employment outcomes. Spend your afternoons supporting our residents in our Transitional Accommodation program, located in Kingswood. This is a permanent, part-time role.
Bring your trauma informed, and person-centered program coordination to supporting individuals and families who are experiencing, or at risk of homelessness. We are a charity with a different perspective. By keeping people, families and community at the heart of everything we do, and providing essential services, we walk alongside people on their journey back 'home'. Our mission is to empower people with Dignity and prevent, respond to, and end homelessness.

Key duties
- Empower people who are experiencing homelessness
- Identify and engage support service referrals to enhance resident outcomes
- Coordinate and liaise with program partners including potential employers, employment path-way agencies, real estate agents and property services
- Provide guidance to residents to support their transition to independent living in the private rental market
- Provide guidance to residents to maintain property standards required for their transition to private housing market
- Identify and coordinate educational sessions to assist residents
- Oversee maintenance requirements for both properties
- Ensure our accommodation sites are well presented at all times
What you'll need
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in similar role
- Strong knowledge of the Housing and Homelessness sector
- Current employment Working with Children Check
- DV Aware Certification or willingness to obtain
- Sound computer literacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Time management, problem-solving skills, and initiative
- Personal maturity, common sense, and self-awareness
- Proven capacity to manage professional boundaries
- An eye for detail and ability to clean to Dignity standards
- Able to listen respectfully to our residents
- The capacity to work with dignity at all times
- Current Drivers Licence and own vehicle
Location: Kingswood
Position: Permanent Part Time | Monday to Friday | 25 hours per week
