Join our highly professional team at Australia’s oldest NATA Accredited forensic laboratory ( Est. 1922 ) in a fast paced and dynamic situation at our facility at Croydon South.
Your role will be a flexible one encompassing reception relief, assisting with sample entry and some general administrative duties that may be expanded by the right person to assist the Office & Accounts Manager & Laboratory Manager.

We are looking for someone that can “ Hit the ground running”, that can work in a harmonious non-toxic environment, has a high attention to detail and can multi task.
Flexibility is a must!
Tuesdays - Fridays - 15 - 20 hours per week- with flexibility to cover Annual Leave for our main Receptionist / Administrator.
This role would suite someone looking to return to work with school aged children or looking to wind down hours. 5+ YEARS in a similar role minimum requirement.
Major Roles:
- Front Office and Client Reception
- Administration Duties
- Email and document handling and sorting
- Assisting with Sample Entry and Handling
- To be part of a professional team
Key Accountabilities:
- Answering phones and transferring calls.
- Email checking, responding and distribution, email flagging / client responses.
- General Housekeeping- i.e Coles and Officeworks ordering.
- Assisting with daily updating of pending job list, working job sheet and lab books.
- Assisting with meeting scheduling and documentation such as meeting minutes and distribution.
- Assistance with Sample Entry.
- Assistance with typing up quotes as required.
- General client liaising where needed.
- Ensure all documentation, data and other media is available to support sample entry and the preparation of client reports.
- Assisting with typing up invoicing proformas where required.
- Maintain strict and accurate records.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers as required.
- Maintain strictly professional attitude and appearance.
- Other activities as required for the Office Manager, Director or Lab Manager.
