About the business
Klinefire was established in 1964 and has over 60 years experience manufacturing and supplying Fire Equipment to the Australian fire industry. In 2017 we expanded our business to include Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems (predominantly buses).
The Role
As the Executive Sales Manager at KlineFire Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales strategy and leading a team of sales professionals. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans that align with the company's overall business objectives, with a strong focus on new business development and just as importantly, supporting the growth and management of our existing clientele. This full-time position is based in Noble Park North, VIC 3174.
What you'll be doing
- Visiting our current client base and prospective clients on a regular basis (note Interstate Travel will be required for this position)
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Managing and mentoring a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, training and performance feedback
- Analysing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and inform strategic decision-making
- Representing the company at industry events and building strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Monitoring and reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity
- Implementing a CRM system
What we're looking for
- An individual who is self-motivated, proactive, energetic with a positive can-do attitude
- Proven track record of success in a sales management role, preferably 5+ years
- Passion for sales and a focus on results
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing effective sales strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends
- Experience selling into the Bus, Truck, Plumbing or Fire industries an advantage
