As we expand our presence in the Australian market, we are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development / Key Account Manager to lead our retail expansion and build long-term strategic partnerships.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of an exciting brand’s growth in Australia. You will be responsible for driving sales, developing key retail partnerships, and ensuring Narwal’s success in major retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, secure, and develop strategic partnerships with major retailers (e.g., Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, Bunnings).
- Drive sales growth through business development and key account management.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Narwal’s market presence.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and promotional plans to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create impactful retail campaigns.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform sales strategies.
- Represent Narwal at trade shows, events, and industry conferences.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and business development updates.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in business development, key account management, or retail sales, preferably in consumer electronics, home appliances, or smart home technology.
- Strong relationships with major Australian retailers are highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable sales strategies.
- Experience with CRM software and sales reporting tools is a plus.
- Passion for innovation, technology, and smart home solutions.
