About the role

As the Senior Sales Executive – APAC at SMSGlobal Pty Ltd, you will drive new business growth and revenue across the Asia-Pacific region. This full-time role will be based in our South Melbourne office

You’ll play a pivotal role in client acquisition, retention, and growth, ensuring that every lead is nurtured into a long-term partnership. You will manage a high-value sales pipeline, maximize revenue, and contribute to SMSGlobal’s success in the APAC region.

This role is perfect for someone who excels at strategic sales, builds lasting relationships, and thrives in a performance-driven environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with prospective clients across the APAC region
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and delivery teams to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
  • Share best practices and mentor more junior sales team members

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of demonstrated success in a new business development or senior sales role, ideally within the SaaS, telecommunications or technology industries
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing sales team
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement tools
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
