About the role

As an Estimator/Contracts Administrator at Five Rivers Constructions, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's construction projects in the Hunter Valley area. This full-time position is based in Cardiff, NSW 2285 and will involve estimating project costs, preparing contract documentation, and providing administrative support to the construction team.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for prospective construction projects
• Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients and suppliers
• Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and contract variations
• Monitor project budgets and report on cost variances
• Liaise with project managers, Site Supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of construction projects
• Provide general administrative support to the construction team as required

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related discipline
• Experience (2+ years) in a similar estimating or contracts administration role within the construction industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of construction estimating and project management software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
