Purpose: As a Accountant at Frestine Dairy Australia, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and contribute to the financial health and growth of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax obligations.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support management’s decision-making.
• Monitor and improve financial controls and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• CPA or CA qualification (preferred).
• Proven experience as an accountant, ideally in a similar industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
