We're seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in Xero and/or QuickBooks to join our finance team. Responsibilities include managing bank feeds, supporting accounts payable/receivable, assisting with budgets, and handling month-end tasks. This role is vital for accurate financial reporting and cost optimization.

Description

• Accurately apply daily bank feeds in Xero/QuickBooks, including multi-currency reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable/receivable, cash flow management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Assist with month-end reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and fixed asset management.
• Manage international transactions, inter-company reconciliations, and tax compliance across multiple regions.
• Prepare external reports, support year-end workpapers, and streamline financial processes.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and training junior finance staff.
• Provide insights for cost-saving and financial optimization.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• A business or accounting degree and/or related professional qualification
• CA or CPA qualified or currently completing
• Advanced Experience with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) and Xero are highly regarded

• Strong grasp of accounting principles and concepts.
• Detail-oriented with a structured and organized approach to tasks.
• Proactive and willing to support the team as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Highly accurate with strong time management, initiative, and follow-through.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team.
