ABOUT THE ROLE

RXI are looking for a hands-on candidate with a can-do attitude. A candidate to own this position and provide a confident and thoughtful approach to managing a team and following company processes to achieve common goals. This role will span nationally across all branches and will have touch points with Supply Chain and all Fitting Branches.

Duties will include:

• Develop, implement, and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient stock control
• Understanding and use of warehouse and ERP system
• Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and other key metrics to senior management.
• Trips to national locations sporadically to ensure national alignment
• Monitor inventory levels, track key metrics, and analyse data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Undertaking cycle counts and stock takes to ensure stock accuracy.
• Regular liaison with internal stakeholders and warehouses in relation to ETAs, PODs, transfers, delays, damages, returns, redundant stock processes and procedures.
• Streamline internal KANBAN system
• Managing all national warehouse staff to ensure optimum efficiency & consistency is obtained.
• Effective management of third party transport providers
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to inventory management.

As a successful candidate, you will:

• Minimum 4 years in Warehouse / Inventory Management
• Proficient knowledge of Inwards Goods Management and Distribution
• Experience managing a team & excellent people management skills
• Current Forklift ticket (Minimum 4 years' experience with high reach).
• Sound understanding of the Health and Safety risks associated with transport and warehousing
• Previous experience in a fast paced, results driven environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organised and methodical
• A can-do mentality with a continuous improvement mindset
