About the role

As the Warehouse Manager at SunshowerOnline, you will play the crucial role of managing our industry-leading fulfillment operation located in Cheltenham, Victoria – And we're re-locating this year! So we’re seeking a warehouse manager looking to grow with us & take hold of our upgrading operation. You'll be armed with the best tools in the game (and the best team!), you’ll learn, walk and be running along with us in no time!

We move everything from pallets to padded bags, to homeowners and businesses all across Australia, and all integrated. We’re always looking to do cooler things, while making it happen as seamlessly as possible.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and lead a team of warehouse personnel to ensure all daily operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching, are completed to the highest standard
• Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures and best practices to optimise inventory management, space utilisation and workflow
• Monitor and analyse warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
• Work with customer service to coordinate and prioritise order fulfilment
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Participate in the development and execution of the company's strategic growth plans
• Mentor and encourage the warehouse team, providing support to drive & enable their growth within the business

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse management role, preferably within the irrigation, landscape or hardware-adjacent industries
• Demonstrated expertise in warehouse operations, including inventory management, space optimisation and workflow optimisation
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse data and implement creative solutions
• Proficient in and/or experience with ERP or inventory management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate & coordinate with team members across all levels, as well as customers.
• You like tech, you like systems, but things can always be tweaked and made better
• You’re sick of stale & static workplaces
• You want to feel genuinely valued for your work & your input
• You can see yourself running your own show eventually (we love that!)
