Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping to ensure efficient processes.
• Inventory Control: Manage stock levels with regular cycle counts and accurate record-keeping to minimize discrepancies and waste.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce food safety standards and health regulations (e.g., HACCP), ensuring that all warehouse activities meet industry-specific compliance requirements.
• Staff Leadership & Training: Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a safe, efficient, and motivated work environment.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, manage logistics schedules, and collaborate with transportation teams for timely delivery.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in product handling and storage conditions.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance warehouse procedures and systems to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Facility & Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance of warehouse infrastructure and equipment, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food distribution industry.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
• Madarian Speaker will be prioritised
