MAYDAY Recruitment is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing, supplier relationships, and compliance across Australia and New Zealand.

Main responsibilities include:
• Develop and manage procurement strategies that align with company goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective contracts.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, including APRA CPS230.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage risks, and ensure service delivery.
• Oversee procurement budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Implement sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.

The ideal candidate:
• At least 5 years of procurement management experience, ideally in financial services or insurance.
• Expertise in supplier selection, contract negotiation, and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations in Australia & New Zealand.
• Familiarity with APRA CPS230, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to develop and execute cost-saving strategies.
• Flexibility to support business operations across Australia & New Zealand, with occasional travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with sustainable procurement and ethical sourcing (preferred).
