Drive Operational Efficiency & Business Support Functions
We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Manager of Business Services to oversee and optimise core business support functions, ensuring they are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with operational needs.
Reporting to the Operations Director, this role is responsible for overseeing procurement, business analytics, IT support, corporate communications, document control, travel management, and business continuity planning. Leading a dedicated and professional team you will deliver outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders through collaboration and a solutions focus.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive business services professional with a strong background in operations, procurement, and governance. You will play a key role in improving business performance, enhancing efficiency, and supporting the organisation’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership – Lead the business support functions to ensure timely service excellence, continuous improvement, compliance, and process efficiency.
- Procurement & Vendor Management – Manage purchasing strategies, supplier contracts, and value-for-money outcomes.
- Business Analytics & Reporting – Working with operational leaders and the executive team to develop insights and reporting frameworks to support informed decision-making.
- Corporate Communications – Responsible for internal and external communications, including website and social media.
- IT Support & Systems Management – Ensure effective IT support, governance, and digital process improvements.
- Document Management – Responsible for ensuring the document management system supports corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
- Corporate Travel & Business Continuity – Manage travel services ensuring operational continuity and cost effectiveness.
Your Background
- Leadership & People Management – Demonstrated experience managing technical teams, leading business support functions, and effective stakeholder management.
- Governance & Compliance – Strong understanding of procurement policies, document control, and risk management.
- Procurement & Vendor Negotiation – Ability to drive cost efficiencies and manage supplier relationships.
- Data & Business Analytics – Experience in developing reports and insights to support business decisions.
- IT & Digital Process Improvement – Experience in overseeing IT services and driving digital efficiency.
- Strong Communication & Stakeholder Engagement – Ability to work with leaders and teams across the business.
- Industry Experience (Preferred) – Experience in aviation, or other highly regulated industries is advantageous.

- Tertiary qualification in Business Management, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
