As Site/Production Manager, you will be in charge of the day-to-day operations of an automotive repair facility. Your responsibilities include supervising a team of technicians, streamlining workflow processes, upholding quality standards, and liaising with customers to guarantee prompt vehicle repairs. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to safety regulations and budget constraints while striving for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This role also involves overseeing the entire repair process, ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and to a high standard. Key duties include managing technicians, coordinating parts procurement, monitoring repair schedules, and maintaining a safe, compliant workspace that meets both industry regulations and customer expectations.

Team Management:
Hiring, training, and supervising automotive technicians.
Assigning repair tasks based on individual expertise and workload.
Evaluating technician performance and providing necessary coaching.

Operational Coordination:
Organizing the repair schedule and prioritizing jobs based on urgency.
Monitoring repair progress and addressing potential delays.
Managing parts ordering and inventory levels.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

Customer Engagement:
Communicating with customers to understand vehicle issues and provide accurate estimates.
Updating customers throughout the repair process.
Handling complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Financial & Budget Oversight:
Monitoring repair costs to ensure alignment with budget constraints.
Tracking labor hours and identifying areas for efficiency improvement.
Reviewing financial reports to detect trends and cost-saving opportunities.

Technical Expertise & Support:
Keeping up with advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques.
Assisting technicians with complex vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Repair Workflow & Scheduling:
Creating and managing repair schedules to ensure timely job completion.
Assigning tasks based on technician skills and job requirements.

Quality Assurance:
Conducting thorough inspections to verify repairs meet industry and customer expectations.

Parts & Inventory Control:
Overseeing procurement to ensure timely availability of parts while maintaining cost efficiency.

Leadership & Team Development:
Supervising and motivating the technician team to maximize productivity.
Providing training and performance feedback to enhance skills.

Cost Efficiency & Profitability:
Evaluating repair costs and implementing strategies to improve efficiency.
Ensuring financial sustainability of repair operations.

Customer Satisfaction & Service Excellence:
Keeping customers informed on repair progress.
Addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive service experience.

Workplace Safety & Compliance:
Enforcing safety procedures and ensuring proper use of workshop equipment.

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement:
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) like repair turnaround time, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction to drive operational improvements.

Required Skills:
