Our client, a leading commercial organisation is seeking a skilled Training Development Support Officer to join their team to be based in their office in north of Canberra CBD.
- Work in a supportive and innovative team environment.
- Full-time, 6-month engagement in a convenient ACT location.
- Hourly rate of $60 - $65 P/H plus super
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for a Support Role to Learning Designer/ Training Developer within a leading commercial department. This 6-month full-time engagement will focus on supporting the development and delivery of training materials, ensuring that the workforce is equipped with the necessary skills to meet evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create training materials, including courses, manuals, and eLearning content.
- Assist the Instructional Designer in writing lesson plans and updating user guides.
- Build and manage a SharePoint site with training videos, user guides, and FAQs.
- Design and structure learning content to optimise engagement and interactivity.
- Integrate multimedia tools such as videos, quizzes, and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
- Facilitate face-to-face training sessions as required.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Previous experience in training development or support roles.
- Proficient in Articulate Rise 360/Storyline or similar editing software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly SharePoint.
- Excellent communication, writing skills, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in delivering internal training and facilitating sessions.
