SMAART Recruitment have partnered with a Melbourne based hospitality management company to recruit an Accounts and Reconciliation officer. This company manage some of Melbourne’s best event venues and restaurants and are in South Wharf. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company on a full-time permanent basis.

About the role:
As a key member of the finance department, you will primarily focus on accounts-related tasks with an emphasis on reconciliation. Experience with MYOB is essential for success in this role. Your responsibilities will include invoicing, weekly forecasting and revenue loading, reporting, reconciliation, end-of-month reporting, and supporting the team in implementing cost reduction initiatives. This is a newly created position due to company expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong organisational and communication skills.

What skills do you need to have?

• 2-5 years’ experience within the general accounting and reconciliation space.
• High attention to detail
• Previous experience using MYOB is essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
