Position Overview:
My client is seeking an experienced and results-driven National Business Manager – Out of Home to lead and manage the strategic development and growth of our out-of-home (OOH) business with a focus on managing the startegy and relationship with the major food distributors. This role will have a significant impact across the food service, wholesale, and manufacturing channels, working with key customers and stakeholders.
As the National Business Manager, you will oversee a small but high-performing team and ensure that both business and customer objectives are achieved. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, maintaining and developing key relationships, and identifying new opportunities for expansion. You will also have part ownership/high level of infulence of the strategy for these channels, working closely with the businesses General Manager to form this, and then being responsible for leading the team through a successful execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the strategy for the Out of Home channel, covering food service, wholesale, food manufacturing, and more.
- Manage key customer relationships, ensuring their satisfaction and aligning the businesses solutions to meet their needs.
- Drive sales and profit growth, identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing partnerships.
- Oversee the performance and development of a small, high-performing team to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
- Work closely with internal departments, including marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations, to ensure product and service excellence.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of industry developments and provide actionable insights.
- Provide regular reporting on channel performance, sales forecasts, and strategy execution.
About You:
- Proven experience in a senior sales or business management role, preferably within the food service, wholesale, or food manufacturing sectors.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to coach and motivate a high-performing team.
- Deep understanding of the Out of Home channel, with a track record of delivering results and driving growth in this space.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and managing budgets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, with a passion for food and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
