ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated person to work for Narang Bir-rong Aboriginal Corporation (Narang Bir-rong). Narang Bir-rong provides Family Support Services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Families in Western Sydney, Nepean Blue Mountains, Northern Sydney/Eastern Sydney/Sydney and connected communities as well as Out of Home Care placements for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people who cannot remain at home due to abuse and/or neglect.
The role is full-time (35hrs) and all roles are based at our Penrith office.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Services Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing key corporate services functions to ensure the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operations of Narang Bir-rong, including fleet management, organisational insurances, IT systems and infrastructure, asset management and management of lease agreements.
NBAC PAY SCALES (ABOVE AWARD WAGE)
- PM1 to PM4
- Total Package Value: $118,844.09 - $122,829.99 (Package includes leave loading and Superannuation, and is dependent on experience)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised in Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Experience in administrative or corporate services role.
- Experience in a management position.
- High level of oral and written communication skills and demonstrated report writing and use of Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to convey a high degree of commitment and passion for mission of Narang Bir-rong.
- Prior experience in a database management.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team; detail oriented, well organised, focused and goal oriented, with a high level of initiative and energy, as well as problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with stakeholders in a complex and diverse organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and reviewing systems across multiple sites.
- People oriented and results driven.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Valid NSW Driver’s license.
- Probity checks including NSW Working with Children’s check & National Police Check
