The Role
We are looking for a confident, and efficient part-time staff member to join our small team in the role of sales and marketing co-ordinator. This is a part-time position working 3 days a week for approximately 20 hours in total.
This role includes proactively pursuing new opportunities for marketing, through social media and electronic direct marketing, as well as assisting with online orders and the day to day running of the business.
The ideal candidate would have a love for outdoor cooking and be excited about promoting our pizza ovens and be able to independently bring fresh ideas to the table.
You will be working for Jalando Pizza Ovens, which is a part of the Lee Corp group, at our Preston office and showroom. Limited public transport is available, so a licence and car is an advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
- Campaign strategy development and creative content creation.
- Social media marketing
- Demonstrated past success in increasing sales through creative marketing initiatives.
- Experience in driving brand awareness and sales
- Analyse market trends and customer insights to drive growth.
- Well-presented and well-spoken.
- Previous experience in using Canva essential
- Previous experience using Later and WordPress is highly desirable.
- Previous Sales and Customer Service experience, both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Competent in the use of Apple Mac and PC.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and be willing to support others.
- Able to demonstrate initiative.
- Well-presented and well-spoken.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Set up marketing plans and campaigns
- Design and implement digital marketing strategy with the goal of driving traffic and/or brand recognition
- Create successful social media campaigns to grow a brand’s audience
- Write articles and blogs
- Create/Assist with marketing materials and product brochures.
- Provide showroom sales support
- Follow-up calls to customers as an after-sales service.
- Follow-up calls on customer quotes in an effort to convert to sales.
- Collaborate with brand partners
- Maintain database and co-ordinate EDM (Electronic Direct Marketing) to existing and potential customers.
- Assist with relationship management of retailers and suppliers.
- Liaise with our contracted marketing company and assist with marketing campaigns and blog content for the SEO
- Create and schedule social media posts for both Organic and Paid ads.
- Provide monthly social marketing reports and updates.
- Assist with stocktakes.
- Assist with the preparation and packing of customer online orders for despatch.
- Assist with invoicing and quotes and other general Administration tasks as required.
Hours of Work
- We are offering 15-20 hours per week.
- Days of work: Flexible from Monday to Friday but you will need to work in the office.
- This is a permanent part-time role only and will not extend to full-time in the foreseeable future.
- A 3 month probationary period will apply.
