About the role
EK Wear is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Part-time Customer Co-ordinator to join our team in Penrith, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a flexible role that fits around school hours.
We are one of the leading providers of Yr 12 commemorative jackets and jerseys. Our customers view these garments as ‘keep forever’ and so are very emotionally invested in the journey to get their special design made.
As our Customer Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for contacting our valued school customers to start the design journey, and updating their database details for our sales team to follow up.
What you'll be doing
- Reaching out to our customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that they are ready to start on the design process for the new Yr 12 student garments.
- Following up with emails and making appointment setting
- Resolving customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective way
- Providing accurate information about our products and services
- Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions
- Working closely with the sales team in planning contact campaigns for regions.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service or call centre role, preferably in the apparel industry, but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Flexible and adaptable personality with a genuine ‘get things done’ approach. You like to 'hit your number’
- Strong problem-solving skills to help customers and make suggestions for improvement
- Proficient in using computer systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
