The Role:

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments for patients.
• Welcome patients as they arrive and retrieving required documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to privacy laws.
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department or staff member as needed.
• Assist with billing and payment processing - must have a strong knowledge of Medicare.
• Use of medical software such as Best Practice / Medical Director.

Ideal candidate checklist:

• Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Receptionist.
• Experience in fast paced environment.
• Proactive team player with strong organisational skills.
• Strong knowledge of Best Practice and/or Medical Director.
• A confident individual who is ready to jump in and help!
