About the role

Redland City Medical Centre is seeking a Casual or permanent part time Medical Receptionist to join our team in Cleveland, QLD. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and clinical staff. This is a flexible, casual position that will involve working a variety of shifts to cover our operating hours.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's appointment calendar
• Checking patients in and out, collecting payments, and managing patient records
• Answering and triaging incoming phone calls
• Providing general administrative support to the medical team as needed
• Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

• Previous experience in a medical office or customer service environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in using computer systems and medical practice software
• A friendly, professional, and empathetic demeanor
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
