Liberty is a values-driven, not for profit that has been providing domestic and family support services to the Port Macquarie Hastings community for 45 years.

- Safety planning and support services to women and children experiencing domestic and family violence

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a DFV Response Coordinator, you will work in the Client Support team providing best practice social responses to women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.
- Manage incoming referrals and maintain communication with clients and referrers as required
- Respond to incoming calls and walk ins, upholding dignity and safety
- Coordinate stakeholder bookings and ensure the smooth running of the welcome space
- Welcome clients to their first appointment at Liberty, hold space as they share their story, assess risk, and follow their lead on the next steps/supports, as required
- Maintain accurate and current records and statistical data
- Purchasing Officer for client and office needs
- Support Work Health and Safety activities as required
- Receive and dispose of donations of goods as required
- Collaborate with other services to strengthen referral pathways and develop innovative, integrated community responses to women and their children experiencing domestic and family violence and/or homelessness
- Represent Liberty in community such as attending interagency meetings with stakeholders, including co-location partners, and participating in events as required

The successful applicant will:
- be organised and efficient

- have the ability to work autonomously
The applicant will have:
- Knowledge and experience in risk assessment and safety planning is desirable
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Knowledge and experience using Response-Based Practice is desirable
- Awareness of DVNSW's Good Practice Guidelines is desirable
- Current driver licence
- Current Working with Children Check
