Position can be Full Time if you have full availability Wednesday - Sunday, otherwise or Perm Part Time. Rostered hours will be over 5 days.

All applicants must have legal right to work in Australia, pay will meet all relevant award rates & penalties and based on experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chef to prep and cook meals according to our menu. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. You will work closely under our Head Chef and follow guided instructions and training in delivering our menu.

The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Check food while cooking
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and liaise with Head Chef

Requirements

• Proven experience as Chef.
• Experience in using cutting tools and cookware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, frying, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
