About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Childcare Center Director / Nominated Supervisor to join our team at Circle Early Learning in Oberon, NSW. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our newly built 77 place early learning center, ensuring we provide the highest quality care and educational experiences for the children in our community.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staff management, budgeting, and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Developing and implementing the centre's educational program, ensuring it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and meets the needs of the children in our care
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with parents and families, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work culture, providing coaching and support to the teaching team to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential
• Representing the centre within the local community and building partnerships with relevant organisations
• Ensuring the centre's physical environment is safe, well-maintained, and conducive to learning and play

What we are looking for

• Minimum qualification: Diploma of Children’s Services.
• Your experience as a centre director is highly regarded.
• Current First Aid qualification, including Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the National Law, National Regulations, National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Belonging & Becoming framework.
• Proven ability to lead, guide, mentor, and supervise a team effectively.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in childcare management systems and communication systems.

You should also have

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Current Police Check (less than 6 months old).
• Current Working with Children Check (employee).
• Food Safety Supervisor qualification.
